Simply insert a pencil into one of the holes on the outside of the disc, then add or subtract or multiply or divide, by the number in the middle. Flip the disc over and self-check your answer by looking at the answer next to the pencil. Flashdiscs allow children to easily see the relationship between fact families as they work the discs back and forth.
